- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 small bunch fresh basil, julienned
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Add the mustard and the lemon juice to a medium bowl. Whisk together. Add the olive oil in a thin stream, whisking the whole time. Continue whisking until the mixture combines into a thick liquid. Julienne the basil and add it to the dressing. Season to taste with the salt and freshly cracked pepper.
