Breakfast in Bed for Mother's Day
Gather the children to create a breakfast that’s easy for them to make (with supervision, of course) in honor of mom. Serve it up on a tray with Central Market’s order-ahead Breakfast in Bed kit and eat breakfast on the duvet this year.
Easy Omelet with Three Eggs
1 T butter
3 eggs, beaten with a Tbsp of milk
1 pinch of salt
fresh ground pepper
¼ cup shredded cheese
- Melt butter in 10" non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour in beaten eggs and allow to set for about 10 seconds. Use a spatula to lift the cooked edges of the eggs so that the uncooked eggs flow underneath, gently tilting the pan at an angle. Repeat, working around the pan, until the eggs are cooked to your preferred consistency.
- Sprinkle cheese on the cooked circle of egg. Fold one side into the middle, then do the same with the opposite side. Shake and gently pry the eggs from pan to plate.
