Easter Sweets and Treats

The Belgian chocolate house Neuhaus has wowed us again. Their Easter-themed creations are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Pastel drawings of ducks, daisies, bunnies and bells festoon multi-colored boxes loaded with chocolate eggs wrapped in bright foils. The “Easter Egg” assortment offers up 18 delicious chocolate eggs filled with a vanilla crème, hazelnut praline or sweet wild strawberry.  Boxed Neuhaus treats and a metal Easter egg open to reveal luxurious holiday nibbles.

Unwrap a festive foil-wrapped bunny, duck, or little lamb in luxurious milk and dark chocolates from Madeleine’s Chocolates.  Buy them in bulk and spread them throughout the Easter baskets you’ll create.

Bunny corn is perfect for putting in delicate glass or silver bowls and spreading around the house, or for filling those eggs you’ll hide.

For a fun project to keep the little ones busy after the hunting is over (and you’re enjoying your muffin), buy bulk bags of Jelly Belly candies in springtime colors. Arm each child with a mason jar and a spoon and tell them to layer the chewy beans into a little work of art. They can screw on the lid and carry their creation to show off when they’re done!
