Serious foodies are finding that beer is often a better match for food than wine. At your Super Bowl gathering, let us suggest that you do a little multi-tasking and matchmaking by conducting a super-sampling of winning snacks and brews.Our beer selection* includes the best brews from around the world, from ales to bocks to wheat beers and lambics. And we’ve got hundreds of cheeses to go with them, too. Remember, the best way to learn is simply by doing, but here are a few suggestions to get you started:
Parmesan: an amber lager such as Famosa
Mascarpone or Ricotta: a fruit beer such as Lindeman’s Belgian Frambois Lambic
Emmental (Swiss): a bock beer such as Celebrator
Colby: a pilsner such as Scrimshaw
Sharp Cheddar: a pale ale such as Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery Pale Ale
Gorgonzola: a barleywine ale such as Hog Heaven
Feta: a wheat beer such as Pinkus Organic
