Katie Lee Joel will share delicious, unpretentious recipes and tips from her new book, The Comfort Table. Lauded by Paula Deen and Bobby Flay, these recipes are the original comfort food. Fried Green Tomatoes, Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Deviled Eggs are just a few examples of her down-home style. Menu for the class will be: Fiesta Wontons; Individual Chicken Pot Pies; and Black Forest Trifle.
Book signing immediately following class (cookbooks will be available for purchase). ( And yes, Billy Joel is her husband) $25

Join us in our cafe, enjoy live music and great food – from soups and salads to sandwiches, Tex-Mex specialties, pastas and pizza, entrées and more. Our hours are 7 am – 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and
7 am – 10 pm Friday and Saturday. Breakfast is served weekdays from
7 am – 10:30 am and on weekends from 7 am – 11 am. Brunch served on Saturday and Sunday from 11 am - 3 pm.

Central Market Cafe presents live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the patio. Join us for dinner and enjoy an evening of great music. Performances are from 6:30 - 9PM except on Sunday 12:30 to 3PM, and there is never a cover. See why Austin is called "The Live Music Capital of the World."
