Freshness and Variety
Our seafood is delivered fresh 6 days a week. Our seafood experts cut our
fillets and steaks from whole fish, which means that you get the best tasting,
most moist product possible. Try our 100 varieties
of saltwater and freshwater fish and shellfish. We'll even steam or marinate
them while you're shopping. In addition, we offer our own crab and fish
cakes, stuffed seafood and even a salmon roast.
HACCP Safety Program (Hazard Analysis of Critical
Control Points)
Central Market was one of two retailers in the country to volunteer for
this USDC safety program. From the time the seafood comes out of the water
to the time it gets home with our customers there have been dozens of check
points for safety. From licensed fisherman fishing in the correct waters
during the right season, holding and shipping the fish at the right temperature
and then continually monitoring it so we know it's safe at all times, this
program ensures that we maintain the highest standards
of quality and safety with our seafood.
Saltwater Tanks
We have so much fresh fish, we divide them by body of water. The three saltwater
tanks represent the Atlantic, Pacific and Gulf. These tanks simulate the
natural environment of the shellfish. |
