Susana Trilling's Flavors of Oaxaca
March 8 - 16, 2003

Famed television chef and cookbook author Susana Trilling will reveal the culinary wonders of this famed region of Mexico! We are welcomed into small villages to discover centuries-old culinary traditions that will include chocolate making and cheese making by hand. We will meet local folk artists and artisan pottery makers, shop the colorful fresh food markets and step into the homes and villages of Oaxaca. We'll even help prepare the famed Oaxacan barbacoa that will be the centerpiece of a feast where we are the honored guests! The week will be filled with hands-on and participation cooking classes at Susana's renowned Seasons of My Heart Cooking School.

Cooking in France
With Anne Willan

July 6 - 14, 2003

Master the art of French cooking with PBS-TV chef and award-winning cookbook author Anne Willan. We'll be Anne's special guests at her famed Château du Fey in Burgundy that was lovingly restored by Anne and her husband, Mark Cherniavsky. The wonderful French specialties Anne has created there were the basis of her recently published cookbook, My Château Kitchen. For our first five days in France, we'll join Anne with hands-on cooking classes that give an overview of fine modern French cooking as well as practical ideas and recipes for entertaining at home. We'll embark on daily excursions and explore some of the finest countryside in France and enjoy some of the world's finest food and wine offered in Burgundy's restaurants. We'll visit French food markets and famed French vineyards and enjoy delightful evening dinners at the château. Then, we'll join Anne and Mark in Paris for a whirlwind day tour that will include visits to landmark shops and markets for food, wine and housewares as well as a bistro lunch and a grand farewell dinner at a three-star restaurant.
