HATCH CHILE FESTIVAL RECIPE CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

  1. 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Contest period begins 8/02/2011. Contest period ends 8/22/2011 at 10:00 am Central Time.
  2. 2. Eligibility: Contest open to all legal residents of Texas, age 18 or older on date of entry. Employees of Central Market H-E-B, H-E-B and any of its related companies may enter but are not eligible for cash value prizes.
  3. 3. How to enter: Entries will only be accepted via the online entry form. Form requires name, email, and zip code. Complete Official Entry Form as directed. Limit one entry per household. Entries must be received by 10:00 am on 8/22/2011 to be eligible. Central Market is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, or late entries. All entries and submitted photos become the property of Central Market and will not be returned.

Entries must be received by 2:00 p.m. Central Time on 8/19/2011 to be eligible. Central Market is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, or late entries. All entries and submitted photos become the property of Central Market and will not be returned.
  5. 5. Terms of recipe submission: By submitting a recipe, entrant acknowledges and agrees that the recipe becomes the property of Central Market in perpetuity and may be copyrighted by Central Market and used in whatever manner or form Central Market chooses. Central Market reserves the right to revise, alter, edit, or adjust winning recipes for publication or any other purpose. Entrant represents to Central Market that: (1) the recipe submitted is the entrant’s original work, (2) that entrant has full right and license to use the work and assign any and all rights to the work, and (3) that the work has never previously been published in any form. Entrant consents to publication of the recipe in any form chosen by Central Market. Entrant consents to the use of entrant’s name and city or county of residence in conjunction with publication of the recipe. Recipes published in any prior Central Market cookbook or other forms are ineligible.
  6. 6. Odds of winning: Contest will be judged. To the extent applicable, odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Purchase will not change odds of winning.
  7. 7. Other: Contest void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Entry and acceptance of prize constitutes agreement to be bound by the Official Rules, permission to use the winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and promotion without further compensation, and a release of Central Market and its affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, employees, agents and promotional agencies, from any and all claims or liability arising out of participation in Contest or acceptance or use of prize. Invalidity of any provision of the Official Rules shall not affect any other portion thereof. Central Market reserves the right to change Official Rules or cancel Contest without notice.

  1. 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Contest period begins 8/02/2011. Contest period ends 8/22/2011 at 10:00 am Central Time.
  2. 2. Eligibility: Contest open to all legal residents of Texas, age 18 or older on date of entry. Employees of Central Market H-E-B, H-E-B and any of its related companies may enter but are not eligible for cash value prizes.
  3. 3. How to enter: Entries will only be accepted via the online entry form. Complete Official Entry Form as directed. Limit one entry per person. Entries must be received by 10:00 am Central Time on 8/22/2010 to be eligible. Central Market is not responsible for lost, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, or late entries. All entries become the property of Central Market and will not be returned. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use to use the winner’s name, likeness, and voice for purposes of advertising and promotion.
  4. 4. Winners: Photos of winners or stories submitted may be published.
  5. 5. Winner Selection: On August 25, winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received. All selection decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. All finalists will be required to provide a valid state-issued drivers license. To the extent applicable, odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Purchase will not change odds of winning.
  6. 6. Notification: Selected entrants will be contacted up to three times by telephone and via email. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond in a timely manner, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining valid entries. Persons selected to judge will receive a $50 gift card to Central Market and an official Hatch Central Market t-shirt. Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Central Market reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
  7. 7. Other: Contest void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
