Chocolate Festival

Are you really into chocolate? Have you ever told a ganache-ganache joke? Does death by chocolate sound like a pretty good way to go? Are your four food groups white, dark, milk and semi-sweet?

If the answer’s yes, then bring your sweet tooth to the 5th annual Chocolate Festival at Central Market, February 8-14. Our entire store will be dedicated to the sweet and savory sensations of chocolate. Meet world-famous chocolate makers and sample unforgettable eats like cocoa-dusted cheese and irresistible treats like chocolate breads, browniesand plenty of dippable delights.

FEATURED CHEF. HANDS-ON. Enroll in our very own University of Chocolate. Working in our kitchen with professional chocolatier Amanda Snouffer of Barry Callevaut Chocolate Academy, you’ll pick up tips and discover tried-and-true techniques that ensure success. Graduate with an advanced degree after you have learned to temper chocolate using the seeding method; create a molded chocolate Valentines’ candy; form a hollow molded heart to be filled with chocolate mousse; and make chocolate fruit and nut clusters. You’ll take your creations with you at the end of class. Class is limited to 10 registrants. $50
