Brewtopia - Beer Round Up
Wednesday, September 22, 6:30 - 9:30 PM Come help the Central Market Cooking School Staff, Beer/Wine, Deli/Cheese Departments and the Bakery kickoff our first annual Brewtopia. You will enjoy a variety of our featured beers paired with samples of sausage and an assortment of cheese, bread and crackers from our bakery. Our beer experts will be on-hand to talk to you about specialty ales, lagers, pilsners, and more. Our Cooking School staff will be on-hand creating tastings of foods that highlight beer as an ingredient.

Brewtopia - The St. Arnold's Gastro Pub
Thursday, September 23, 6:30 - 9:30 PM The celebration continues with Texas' oldest craft brewer and hometown favorite Brock Wagner, Founder of St. Arnold's and the Central Market Cooking School Staff. The menu includes: Amber Ale (sampled with Peruvian Chicken Stew and Fresno Peppers); Fancy Lawnmower (paired with Turkish Tomato Salad with Herbs and Pomegranate); Elissa IPA (complimented by All Crustacean Canapés on Black Bread) and other dishes.

Brewtopia - From Pint to Plate with Ken Rathbun
Monday, September 27, 6:30 - 9:00 PM Who better to introduce you to a festival of beers than a local favorite? Come join us and Executive Chef Abacus of Jaspers and Rathbun's Blue Plate to learn to prepare dishes that include beer as an ingredient. You will learn how easy it is to pair beer with a variety of flavors. The menu includes spicy lamb meatballs with beer braised Vidalia onions and ancho barbecue sauce; grilled chicken and shishito pepper skewers with jasmine rice and yellow curry sauce and a host of other dishes.

Wednesday, September 29, 6:30 - 9:30 PM Brewtopia continues with Shiner Brew Master and Central Market Cooking School Staff. Since 1909, the Spoetzl Brewery has been some of the finest beers in Texas. these delicious brews and learn a little of the history and some of the that produce some of your favorite beers, including Shiner Oktoberfest (paired with Chicken Meatball Lasagnettes) and Shiner Bock (paired with Stuffed Pork Loin with Sautéed Apples & Potato Dumplings).
