Hatch Green Chile Con Queso

Servings:
about 2 cups
Ingredients
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
2 Hatch green chiles, roasted, peeled, deseeded, chopped
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup grated American cheese
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar
1/4 cup sour cream
Cooking Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the cheeses over low heat. Add the cream and stir continuously to prevent scorching. Stir in the tomato, chiles and garlic powder. Adjust consistency for dipping by adding sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips.
