Matthew Fritz Wines-A Central Market Favorite
One of our most popular labels, Matthew Fritz, is back with the latest release of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and an all-new red blend, "Prime Red".
Matthew Bonanno and Fritz Stuhlmuller set out to create superior wines at great prices. The results have been most impressive, as life-long friends Matt and Fritz have sourced fruit from some of the California's most prestigious vineyards in select AVA's (American Viticultural Areas) to create Matthew Fritz wines.
The three newest releases from Matthew Fritz continue this tradition of consistent, premium wines from top at outstanding prices.
Year in and year out we have been thrilled with what Matt and Fritz have delivered. These wines exclusive to Central Market wines are ideal for large gatherings and parties as they represent tremendous quality and value, and as always, any purchase of 6 or more bottles results in a 10% discount.
The newly released 2011 MF North Coast Pinot Noir ($14.95) is a light, elegant Pinot Noir that exhibits tangy cranberry, bright cherry, spring flowers and vibrant acidity. This wine would be an ideal pairing for Thanksgiving meal for either turkey or ham.
The 2011 MF North Coast Chardonnay ($10.95) is un-oaked, and delivers green apple, pear and white peach with just a hint of lime zest. It is crisp and refreshing, with a pleasing finish; ideal for salads, lighter fare or as an aperitif.
The 2011 MF North Coast "Prime Red" ($14.95) is the latest addition to the portfolio. It's a tantalizing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. This wine is ripe and plush, with loads of blackberry, black cherry and blueberry fruits, finishing with soft and approachable tannins-a crowd pleaser that has already taken off. Put this with your favorite cut of steak, or enjoy on a cold night with a nice bowl of bison chili or pot roast.
