Savor Southern Dishes and Save on April Cooking Classes

Now is the perfect time to spring into the kitchen and start cooking! Register for any April cooking class before 11:59 pm this Saturday, March 7, and you’ll received 10% off full price.

You’ll have a host of great classes to choose from. Here’s a look at a few we’re featuring. (Note: Please check your store’s Cooking School schedule for availability. Not all classes will be at each Central Market Cooking School.)
  • Texas Parks & Wildlife: Grilling Shrimp, Burgers & Tacos – Spend an evening grilling some of the best our great state has to offer. Discover the importance of prep work and then gather ‘round the grill to prepare grilled venison burgers and more.
  • Alaskan Beer Dinner – The Brewmaster at Alaskan Brewing Company shares the rich history of Alaskan beer, while our Cooking School demonstrates how to prepare recipes that complement them.

  • A Small Guide to Losing Big – Join Cheryl Forberg, nutritionist for NBC's The Biggest Loser, as she suggests tasty meals and snacks for a typical day, offers basic tips for successful weight loss, and demonstrates delicious recipes.

Of course, there are still plenty of delicious cooking classes to register for in March.

Virginia Willis, French-trained chef, veteran cookbook author, and proud Southerner, brings her brand of charm and her lighter look at Southern fare to our Cooking Schools March 21 – 25.

Based on her personal challenge to lighten up her diet, Willis set out to make sure her new, healthy lifestyle included delicious dishes. The result is Lighten Up, Y’all, a soul-satisfying and deeply personal collection of Willis’s new favorite recipes. Each dish is packed with real Southern flavor, but made with healthier, more wholesome ingredients and techniques.

Check your store’s March Cooking School schedule for available spots in Virginia Willis’s Lighten Up, Y’all cooking class!
