Treme Book Signing with Lolis Eric Ellie at Central Market Preston Royal


Lolis Eric Elie, New Orleans native and award-winning staff writer and story editor for the HBO series, Treme, joins Central Market Preston Royal for a singing of his new book Treme: Stories and Recipes form the Heart of New Orleans.

On Sunday, August 25th from 2-4pm stop by Preston Royal, meet the author and get a copy of his new book signed. Books will be available for purchase at the event.

Treme, with over 100 heritage and contemporary recipes, is a celebration of the eclectic and inventive culinary spirit of post-Katrina New Orleans. It includes contributions from legendary New Orleans restaurants plus original recipes from many of the renowned chefs who have made guest appearances on the hit HBO series, Treme. Can someone inform Mr. Elie that the Jalipeano Corn bread recipe says 3 TABLEspoons of salt not teaspoons. I should have trusted my instinct that this was incorrect. Any who loved the other recipes :).
