Capriole Goat Cheese

500 Alpine, Saanen, and Nubian dairy goats live on 80 acres of rolling southern Indiana hills. They are (a very important) part of the Capriole team that creates award-winning goat cheeses by hand on their farm. Well, the goats aren’t doing anything “by hand,” but you know what I mean. All milk used to make Capriole cheeses comes from this herd, right there at the farm.

The Capriole story begins with an old barn and a few 4-H project goats. That grew into an incredible love of incredible goat cheese, produced on the farm from milk to cheese.

If you don't have the time to think through all your cheese selections and pairings, or aren't sure what you should serve, our curated cheese selections paired with crackers and jams are for you. All you need to come up with? The tray.

Free Cheese Stroll Thursday Eve

Over the next two weeks we’re throwing a Cheese Party and everyone’s invited!

To kick it all off, we’re hosting a stroll in all of our stores on Thursday, October 20, from 5-7 p.m. Have fun wandering through the store, tasting cheeses perfectly paired with wines and appetizers. Yay!

Their beers have  wonderful balance all the way across the board, and my recent discovery of Yessir! only adds to the excitement at this Dallas brewery.

Let’s have a Turtle Power party!

October 13 at 5:30 p.m. on our Fort Worth store patio local brewery Martin House will launch their seasonal Turtle Power beer that benefits the Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA).

The wonderful people at TSA help save turtles around the world from extinction. Yay!

One of the most commonly recognized orchids is the Phalaenopsis, pronounced fayl-eh-nop-sis. Not only are Phalaenopsis orchids available all year, they are the easiest to grow, and their blooms can last for months. It is these characteristics that make them the perfect gift!

Fall for Orchids: Miltonias

Known as pansy orchids, Miltonias are distinguished by their large, pansy-like flowers that are both delicately fragrant (similiar to the fragrance of a rose) and long-lasting. The blooms can last for six weeks or more. Eye-catching and bright, Miltonia orchids can range from white and pink to dark purple, pale yellow, or lilac.
